Captain Wayne's favorite time to fish for BLUE MARLIN is July,August,September. Even during peak times the BLUE MARLIN is so elusive you need to be lucky and/or prepared to invest a few days trying to catch and release this magnificent creature.There are two methods used by the REEL BUSY when targeting the BLUE MARLIN, fast trolling various lures and rigged baits or slow-trolling live baits suspended on top of the water by a kite. The all day trip is your best bet when targeting the BLUE MARLIN because Captain Wayne can travel as far as he thinks necessary to find the fish.
